i've tried a bunch of meds and for me, topomax is the best....i didn't lose any weight on it as most people do, but it helped so much....didn't realize how much till i had to stop it (developed severe itching, which is something i tend to do after a while with lots of meds)....i was sleepy for a few days when i started it, and for a few days when the dosage was increased, but i managed much better than with neurontin (or zonegran, or gabitril, or more recently, lyrica).

and yes, it certainly can make carbonated stuff taste funny!....i hope it helps u....good luck with it.

Default Hips

My RSD spread big time after my hip replacement! I went from having a cold foot to having RSD spread to all limbs after the replacement! I wish I never did that! I would rather be living with the arthritic pain then this crazy disease! I dont have experience with topomax- I have heard mixed reviews
