Note Pain Toolkit - ideas?!

I was sent the link to this page called a 'Pain Toolkit' (originally designed for Teenagers and Young People, but very relevant for all of us and clearly written).

I think the ideas in this are very good. Just substitute the words 'young people' for whatever adjective best describes your own age group lol

Thanks so much for posting this, Bram. I am having a rough pain day today so it is perfectly timed for me. I'm reading it now and it is making me think about pacing. I need to work on pacing.

That's very good - my daughter's meeting with her teachers is coming up (for the federal 504 plan for medical issues) and I'll print that out. There was a section that said to print for teachers that talked about pacing. Thanks!

Thanks for these, Kev. I've just started reading the intractable pain one. I know I'm in denial. I was reading it thinking, but do I really have intractable pain? I mean, I have been able to keep working. Sure, I have been in constant pain and have not slept through the night since my surgery (December 2012) but it could be worse. So many of you are so much worse off.

Ugh, definitely still in denial.
