Default Tens unit and oc med help

I've been researching now I need some advice. I have a tens unit for back spasms, can I use that on my worst arm? And if so how? Hahahahahahaaha and over the counter medications, supplements, vitamins? What should I take? I need vit d and a multi vit but not sure what else. Please give me pointers. I hate the spread and not doing anything that requires pulling or lifting more then 2 lbs. I wanna be better even if just a little. Thanks

You can find TENS placement for what will work best for you here- large listing results - images - might take some trial and error to find exactly best for you..

My pm dr told me I could use my tens unit on my stomach where I had surgery last year. It still hurts alot there and he thought it might help. I was using it on my rsd wrist, but it started making it hurt more after a while, so I stopped using it there. I haven't tried it on my stomach yet, because a heating pad seems to be helping along with the pain meds I take. I had bloodwork taken every few months to see what I might need. I need vitamin D because my Vit D level is very low. I think it's a 17 now. It was a 9 and it should be around 35? I can't remember for sure. Anyway, my dr prescribed a vit D pill I take once a week, because my stomach couldn't tolerate the OTC brands. I have osteopenia in my right hip so I have to get my vit D level up so I can take calcium pills to try to keep me from breaking any bones. Don't want that for fear of my rsd spreading. Anyway,I hope the tens unit helps and maybe check with dr about what vitamins to take. Hope you feel better soon. Take care.

Vit D for sure. Vit. C is supposed to help deter spread. I take a timed release 1000 each day. Also have you other levels cheched, you may need magnesium and get get some thru skin with Epsom salt soaks which I also do daily. I am a sun gal and when I got RSD my Vit. D was 6!!!!! I too must take it every day to maintain a normal. Carol
