Default The snow is falling.. too soon!

Hi everyone,

Ugh.. I new it was coming but I was really hoping it would wait a few more weeks! Just looked outside to find everything white with about 2" accumulated already and they are calling for up to 12" overnight Normally I would be so excited that I'd be out there making snow angels and planning a 'ski burn' to ring in the season.. counting the days 'till I could hit that first chair that would lead me to fluffy powder and big air heaven! Oh.. just thinking about it makes me so sad.

I hope everyone is staying warm tonight!
Tessa

Hi Tessa,
It's cold here but no snow yet. I hope you don't get as much as they say and that you can find a way to stay warm tonight too! Sounds like it's a good night for hot chocolate!
Have a good night.
Renee.

I have mixed feelings about snow now too.... I used to love it, had to get out and be in it, making snowmen, having snowball fights, sledging, getting hot and silly - and I got as excited as a child by those falling flakes. Now I love the way it looks, but it means more pain and cold, and mainly fear if I step outside. I'm so scared of falling now, any ice is just too much risk.

I do remember though. If we get some thick, white, soft, silent snow, I sit and remember all the fun I had when snow was such fun. Makes me mist up just writing it, it always without fail makes me cry a little for something beautiful that I feel I've lost.

Enjoy the view, but be careful!

Bram.

Snow on it's way here too. Rain/snow mix tonight, then snow tomorrow. Only going to get a few inches though, not 12" yikes, that a lots a snow. The worst of this system is going to be the cold. I was just looking at the forecast and holy cow it will get down to 20 degrees Wednesday night! Makes me hurt just thinking about it. That's crazy cold for us and super crazy for the first week in November!

No snow for us yet here in Jersey, but the temps are dropping and it's getting really cold. My birdbath had frozen water in it this morning. I had to put fresh water in for my bird friends and extra bread. I love my birds and will miss them when they fly south for winter. Anyway, I hope you all have a warm and painfree night tonight. Bye for Now. My rsd hand is done for the day. I dd too much typing today and my hand is not too happy with me because of it! Time for sleepytime tea and heating pad and bed! Take care of yourselves. Bye for now.
