Default Holistic Approach?

Hello all,

I was just wondering how many of you have either considered or have done any sort of Holistic or alternative forms of treatments? More specifically, I am wondering in anyone has had testing specifically to check vitamin, mineral and hormonal levels and then based on the testing added any supplements to address these areas?

An interesting find while researching local Holistic Centers in my area is that to my surprise one local clinic just 40 miles from my home offers HBOT therapy.. who knew there was one so close by! Iodine levels have been mentioned several times to me through close friends but, until today I had never looked into this myself - I was surprised to learn about the effects this one deficiency can play a big part in our overall immune function and cellular health. Another thing I was not aware of is that Holistic Care is covered through most insurance plans so I think I am at the very least going to schedule time to get this testing done.. anything to help my body heal itself and ward off further ill effects of this disease the better!!

Any/all input is appreciated,
Tessa

I take vit D because my vit D level is too low and I need to bring it up so that I can start taking calcium to strenghten my bones especially those where I was just recently diagnosed with osteopenia which are in my right hip. I would consider a holistic approach and may look into it myself. I hope if you decide to go that route, that it helps. Good luck and my thoughts are with you.
