Thanks for the kind words AZ-Di. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas too. And I'm glad I stayed too because I really care about all of you. You are like family to me and have helped me feel less alone in this battle with RSD. Take care and don't overdue it. Sincerely, Renee.

Wow, a birthday too! That's a really special time on top of Christmas!

Just finished wrapping after a lovely party with friends this evening, and just watching the IT Crowd special with my husband before we go to bed...

Happy Christmas gang and I hope you all manage to enjoy the day the way you want

Hugs to everyone x

Bram.

Merry Christmas to all!! Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday and family time! Also hope you are all experiencing low pain.

I have been with my family since Monday, heading back home this morning. It was a nice long visit. Niece was married Sunday and a nephew will marry this coming Saturday (we will miss that one as it is in DC). Visited with a couple of friends and a couple of husband's aunts/uncles. I have overdone it as we all know it is easy to do. Christmas with my in-laws this evening and then I can relax and recuperate

Oh my fricking goodness that was a nightmare!!!!

The electricity went with an hour and a half of Christmas lunch cooking to go!!!! The whole street was out!!! Madness... My whole family are here for dinner and the evening.

Luckily our outlaws don't live too far away, and when it became obvious that the power wasn't coming on any time quickly, my husband drove the turkey, potatoes, stuffing and pigs-in-blankets up to her oven, and I finished everything else on our stove (thank goodness for gas ). We finally sat down 2 hours late, I am soooooo exhausted I didn't enjoy it as much as I might have lol it turned out lovely in the end (turkey was a bit dry after all that to-ing and fro-ing) despite the best efforts of fate.

My feet are on fire, my knee is huge and numbly painful if you know what I mean. I have a headache coming on and need to sleep...hahaha like that's going to happen!! Presents to do now, then more food, then more family stuff, then maybe much, much later I can sleep.

I thought of all of you folks overdoing it as well (although not as dramatically I hope) trying to get things done and keep family happy. Stay well my friends and sit down whenever yo can get away with it. I have declared myself finished now, and am refusing to move from the sofa for at least an hour...

Hugs to everyone,

Bram

Bram, I think you should stay on the sofa and relax for the rest of the day. I hope the rest of your day goes a little smoother. You deserve to treat yourself to a nice nap too. Hang in there Bram. The new year is almost here and maybe it will be a better one for all of us. Take care my friend.
