Hi Everyone,
My name is Maddy, and I've just registered for NeuroTalk (instead of just lurking here from time to time). ![]() I have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. too, and it's such a 'scourge'! To be brief, I'm afflicted with it on the upper right side of my body. I already wrote about my details in the 'Introduction' part of the website, so now I want to ask a specific question about medication for RSD. Today, I just read a Google News article about a new pain med everyone's up in arms about because it's soooo addictive. Yeah, well try having RSD and getting addicted is the least of our problems, right? ![]() Anyway, this new drug is called 'Zohydro ER' and is supposed to be very helpful with reducing pain - far better than Percoset or slow acting 'Oxy Neo'. I'm curious if anyone else has heard of it and, more importantly, if anyone is using it now. I've been trying to find out if doctors here in Canada are prescribing it, but have not obtained that info, yet, in my brief research about it. Back to the drawing board, I guess. I'll re-post if I find anything that's news worthy on this subject. Blessings to All, Maddy |
