Default Ugh, Just started Therapy and SG Blocks around the Corner..

I started physical therapy with desensitization today..
Today was not a good experiance for my first desensitization therapy.. I would hope it will get better as time goes by...
But for me today Ugh..
I didn't realize that I had pain and sensativity in areas that I have it in. My therapist was kind but it was ugly.. She then told me that we would be working up to materials that were more course as tolerated. I was like I was very glad to leave, come home and put on my lidoderm patches.

Now, I have to start my series of Stellate ganglion blocks with my new pain management doctor. I've had one block a month ago that diagnosed the RSD now I will be starting the series. These start this Friday the 25th then the following Fridays June 1st and June 8th.

Gentle Hugs

Dawn

Hi Dawn,

I really sympathise, it's rough going, I know - but the desensitiztion does usually help a lot in the end. Also, you're lucky to be getting the blocks so early, they sometimes stop RSD in its tracks, I'm told - I so hope it works for you,
be brave!

all the best

Dawn,

Oh, I know what you are going through! Desensitization HURTS so bad, but it helps somewhat. The sensitivity in my arms has improved after months of desensitization. It was so rough though, but I guess it is somewhat worth it!! It helps to take breaks through it all.

Sending you (((super soft hugs)))!

Default Desi, Artist and InHisHands...

Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement... Last night was ugly. It took me awhile to get to sleep but only to a very broken one which is the norm for me.
I'll get through this.. One way or another and with you guys it is always so much easier...
to all..
Dawn
