Default Neighbor kid stood on my foot...OUCH!!!

As if things haven't been bad enough lately, no sleep again last night because of the pain in my right foot, left leg and right hand being off the charts! Then this evening when my husband got home, I was sitting in a chair out in our garage because the two little girls from next door came over chatting away (they love my husband and always run over when they see him get home). The youngest walked up to me and stood on my right foot...OUCH! I got her off of it pretty quickly, but as you all know, it doesn't take much. My foot has been hurting so bad tonight. Feels like it is frozen, but on fire, and like there is a vice on my toes tightening more and more.

I sure hope this eases up so I can sleep tonight...ugh!

Thanks Vrae! I am definitely off of it now. Took a Vicodin and have it up (on the recliner). The vice is loosening up a tiny bit now.

I am such a graceful person (NOT)...a little while ago I was walking back to my recliner from the kitchen and damn if I didn't hit that same foot on my bag that was sitting on the floor beside my recliner. I have hit my feet so many times the past couple days and I keep losing my balance...what in the world is going on ?!?!

Grace meet Indignity: HH 36 almost 38 after all the weight gain. I fall often and my cat sometimes is out to kill me. With how unsteady i am and my insistance on furnature surfing in our tiny house instead of using the cane, i am surprised she hasn't yet. (cane use with exceptions as needed, and always use outside or in big airy room and homes)

Oh Nanc - I am so sorry!!

Has the pain gotten any better? If it helps at all - I have fallen so many times they should give me bumper pads!! So far, I have not had any lasting issues from those falls. I really do hope this pain settles.. oh that poor girl, she must feel terrible.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

A smile and a joke is free and I use them both as defensive mechanisms against the pain.

Hey Tessa! Yes, thankfully the pain has eased up. That little girl has no clue that she made me hurt. She is soon to be 6, not a small girl either. She is almost as tall as her 8 year old sister. She is a sweet child, they both are, but they are a little wild.

My husband was telling his mom on Saturday how much I keep losing my balance. He said he is waiting for me to fall...should I say, he is worried that I will fall. Sorry you have fallen so much but glad there is not lasting damage from the falls. Before I got married (almost 15 years ago) I fell out of bed on several different occassions and each time I got a concussion. People kept teasing me that they were gonna have to put rails on my bed like a kid. Yeah, I am pretty graceful . Actually, my name does mean full of grace so I am just living up to it...HAHA!

Hope you are continuing to do well!

Nanc
