Good luck Vrae. I'll be praying for you. I hope the Lumbar Plexus and SGB help you to feel better.

Knock 'em dead Vrae :winky: lol. I'm glad you've got the dates now, and can plan and prepare as much as possible. Waiting is always horrible though...

Will be here wishing you the Best Of British Luck from green and leafy England :)

Bram x

Thank you Bram! Yeah, but I have so much to do  that time is going to fly by. Thank you for the well wishes. I'm going to get my legs back and walk around England one of these days, damn it! It's on the "list".

Oh I can't wait until we have hues of green. Waiting... waiting

Thanks again!

Best of luck Vrae, I hope the blocks work very well for you and help tremendously with the pain. Best of luck with the procedure and the ride.

okay.. I am so going to try and not be tense. Your warm island made me smile :) thanks Nanc!

Hi Vrae! I tried to reply to this yesterday when I was at the doctors office...waiting and waiting and waiting...I typed and typed on my iPhone and then somehow lost it  After that I couldn't type any more, oh my hands hurt like crazy. And because I was sitting there waiting for the dr for hours, my legs and everything else was screaming at me.

Anyway, the flushing and droopy eye did not last very long for me, maybe an hour or two. I am not sure if they will allow you to drive afterwards or not. Even when I wasn't sedated, they instructed me not to drive for 24 hours. I remember when I was getting those SGB's back in '91, my mom would drive me (more than an hour away) then work started giving me a hard time for missing so much time. So, I started driving myself and going straight to work afterwards and I was going twice a week at one point. Somehow the hospital figured out I was driving myself and would not give me the blocks until they confirmed that my ride (mom) was there with me each time. When I had them more recently, I took a sick day and my husband drove me as I was instructed.

I am happy that you have your blocks scheduled and are getting them every week, I think that is more effective. Also, glad you are getting both at the same time. You might not think so at first, but you will after that...get 'em over with in one day should be a little easier on you. I had that done a few times and was glad I didn't have to break them up.

Please keep us all posted. I will be thinking about you and sending you positive, beachy thoughts every Tuesday!! Got a chair with your name on it :sunchair::sunchair:

I also like your mantra.
All the best,
Nanc

LOL.. It's Beachy Tuesday :D Love it! You made me smile SO BIG! Thanks Nanc! Yeah, that quote is my all time favorite. I will do the thing I think I can't. I am just not dwelling on it. I wonder if they will let me wear noise cancelling headphones w/ music? hum.. I am cranking as much as possible to get things done, as I know the first week or two will be tough with steroids and Flo will be coming to visit. I wish that B-otch would go away and never come back! I have absolutely no use for her. That is next on the proverbial list if I can get some of my pain under control. I have five children because I do NOT want six!

Anywho, here's to beachy Tuesday's! Thanks Nanc  Vrae

I'm hoping things go well and you get relief!

I've been on Deposit for years to keep Flo away! I haven't needed it for its intended purpose unless it was some kind of immaculate conception... lol. But I want that ***** to stay away :icon_mrgreen:
