I have been out of my pain meds for four days now. I didn't realize how much that one norco at night was doing. It was actually smoothing out the sharpest pain during the day also as I have now discovered. Even the softest of blankets are now triggering the hot 'ant burns' and spasms.

Does anyone have advice beyond Epsom salt, Tylenol and heating blanket?

Have you tried a compounded medication with Ketamine in it? this helps me very much. I also use a Lidoderm pain patch. I have PN and it helps. ginnie

No, I am newly diagnosed and my doctor wants to try 'safe' stuff first and if needed work our way up. According to the list on the other thread the closest Dr. that does K. is a 4+ hr drive from home.

I use the patches also but it is normally on top of the meds. They alone help but not nearly enough plus the on/off 12 hr rule applies.

I am waiting for the delivery of my meds, USPS still hasn't gotten them to me. I called today trying to see why it still hasn't arrived the supervisor I got said call back Mon. If it still hasn't arrived and they will file a report.

Sorry to say that is Murphy's Law you need it, it should have been there so it is not. I hope it gets there soon. I hope you can find a way to ease it off or make it go a way. HaHa . If we knew how to make it go away we would all be doing that. I dope hope you get some relief soon

What meds are you missing from delivery?. What did your doctor prescribe for you? Don't hesitate to get to that doctor 4 hours away if the current medications don't work. Just keep at it until you find some good relief. ginnie

Sorry I can't help you at all. I have enough gabapentin to choke a horse but who cares about a horse? I hope you get your meds soon. Hang in there as best you can. I hope USPS works Saturdays like UPS does. We all wish you relief. No worries, the horse is ok ! (-:

Arrived 3hr ago spend the last two sleeping pain is exhausting! The sleepnessless is almost as bad as the pain. five days and I was reduced to a weepy mess.
