Heidi, So very sorry for what your daughter had to witness, so very to the victims & their families. I can't imagine being the parent in either situation.

I'm so sorry your daughter went through that nightmare. I'm glad that she didn't get stabbed though. I will pray for her and you and everyone else that experienced that nightmare.

Heidi - hard to believe the harm done by this troubled young man. So glad to hear your daughter wasn't physically harmed. Be on the lookout for PTSD that may show up over the next few months. That's a scene no child should ever have to witness. Be well - Lottie

I just want to thank all of you for your kind words support & prayers! Its so hard since I am in fla & both my girls live in other states w/their dads espically for something like this. I want to be w/Alyssa so badly right now during this horror she is & has experienced but I am not able to be. I know she had something watching over her that day because she was not physically harmed but still a living nightmare to be a part of & see first hand. I will continue to pray for all involved including the 16yr old young man that did all of this & hope he gets the help he sure needs, but mostly for the teenagers & parents & staff who all endured this horror. Thank you all again I hope your all well this stress is wearing on me so I am just trying to calm my nerves.

And all rest of students who deal with that terrific experience ,your daughter might need some kind of emotional support,I know all school offers therapy after these horrible situation, is something you never forget,so she needs some guidance ,even if you want to be with her you might not be able for now ,but you are at her side with your prayers and phone calls, that will make her feel close to home and to you,I have only one child,I know every time she leaves home to her university things like his might happen ,you,as a parent, will be always afraid,I hope soon any bad memory will be in the past and both of you move on,is hard you never forget, but at least it won't feel too real anymore, blessing to you and your family your friend Jesika
P.s. My prayers tonight will be specially for you and your family.
