Frown Tests results back!

Hi everyone! My surgeon just now called me and gave me my tests results back. I had a bone scan and a MRI and blood work done. ok.. in my brain I have more Atrophy than people my age(Older people start getting this as they age) I shouldn't have it the Dr. said. My wrist shows a lot of inflamation where I had my carpal tunnal surgery done in Jan. The Dr. asked me if I ever broke my wrist?? I said no. ok.. now for the neck .. I have a herniated disk. He is sending me to a spine specialist and he said my RSD is adding to the problems of all this. I have to see another Dr.(who he is calling today) gosh, I am sick and tired of all this well, I guess I am done complaining. Love, Desi

Sorry to hear all this... you are in my thoughts and prayers!

It is rough living with RSD! I know all about it, and all you can do is just hang in there and never lose HOPE!!

That is what keeps us living each day... the hope of more and better treatments, and trying to live our lives normally, and enjoy things of life- whether they be small or big!

Bless you!

Thank you so very much Vanessa! I received yet another call from my ortho surgeon.. I have an app. for a hand/wrist specialist too! my surgeon told these Dr.'s I have RSD so they better handle me gently!! I am not doing very well today! I almost threw my cell phone at my husband!! he was mad because I drove to the store, and was concerned that I would put my car in a ditch because of the pain I'm in. I told him to stop treating me like an invilid!!! gosh, this does suck! Thanks again my friend! Love, Desi

Desi, it sounds like you need a few of these

I have to feel a bit sorry for your hubby, too. It's a high-wire act, being with a rsd'er. Today you may not want to be treated like an invalid, but tomorrow you probably will be asking why he's not being more sympathetic, lol! At least, I know I do that to Michael, I shouldn't make assumptions about anyone else.
