Hi Joan,
I know I can always count on you. Iam finally feeling better. It went through the whole house. Thank God its gone. But I did lose 7lbs, so I am happy about that. On Sunday my daughter invited us over for dinner. SHe used to rent from me and skipped out on 3mo. rent, but I love her and have to let it go. They just bought a house, Iam happy for them. When we got there I thought it would just be us but the whole gang showed up. It was a really good day. I looked at my husband and we both smiled. I know we were thinking the same thing, "look what we created". I have never felt that much love just looking at our family. Even though things have been bad, I know that none of that matters, I have the most important thing, family. How is your daughter? I hope shes ok. You must be so excited! I hope everything is well with you. Oh I forgot, my husband and grandson went fishing and of all the things to catch, they caught my all time favorite thing, a turttle. It was the joke of the day. They knew better not to bring it home. Take care my friend.

HI Sue,
glad you are better! you know i was worried. when is the move day?
and yes, i know the feeling of looking around and seeing the family and all my grandsons and feeling happy and lucky despite it all.
my daughter is doing okay. she is getting tired and cutting down more hours. she was originally working 60 hours a week, and is now down to 48 but the doctor said that was not good enough. so she will be cutting to 24 in the next few weeks. she is a psych nurse and so has to gently transfer the home care of her patients. they do not like change, but many are concerned for her and think that having twins is so great.
i went to another sonogram this week and it was great to see the boys again. they are getting bigger.
i was hand quilting one of the quilts for them today ... and i have two afghans, i am crocheting, going too .... she best not be too early! and the shower is in october so she has to wait for that. ha! as if we have any control at all about any of it.
did i tell you i have two turtles in a tank in my house? i should call them sue and joan!!!!!!!!!!!
love you hip sister, joan

Joan,
Thats funny about the turtles. Iam glad your daughter is doing ok. Having twins takes alot out of you, its good shes cutting down at work. The tv channel is wwlp-channel 22 or out here 5 on cable. I know you live kind of far, but if they do a story on rsd I would love for you to be a part of it. If you couldn't get here i would tell your story also. I move on Monday!!! Can't wait. All I need now is food. Iam so happy.

Hi Sue,
"Yeah Monday!!!! i can't wait for you to get settled! you must be so happy to get your own space.
I don't think i get that station here. There was an article in the Providence Journal recently about a woman with RSD and i wrote to the writer and thanked him for doing it. i heard from him yesterday, telling me he had heard from several people who live this life and he thinks we are all very brave. he was so nice.
if i can get there to do it with you, i will. i would love to tell our identical stories, if not, let me know what facts of mine you would need, other than what you already know, and i will be glad to share. it would depend on when it would be especially with Susan and the babies coming, not on if i could get there. i would love to meet you in person and i would do okay driving that far. some pain, but what else is new?
so happy days!!! Monday is only 5 days away!
love joan

Hi joan,
we are all moved in! Iam so happy. It took alot of work, cleaning and unpacking. My body is on fire and every muscle is aching. But it was worth it. The apartment is so nice. Now we can be more relaxed and the stress won't kill me. I hope everything is well with you.

Love your "hip sister"

Hi Sue,
I Could Not Be More Happy For You. That Is Wonderful News. I Know You Are Tired And Sore As Heck But By The End Of The Week That Will Calm Down And You Will Get To Enjoy The Fruits Of Your Labor. Glad You Took A Minute And Let Me Know ... Now Go Rest, Mentally And Physically! You Deserve It.
Love You Hip Sister, Joan

Hi Joan,
Things are going good here. So much more relaxed. The apartment is only 3 rooms so its easy to take care of. I went to a new therapist today. He knoes alot about rsd. He did is rotation with Dr. Swartzman. I hope i spelled that right. Its so cold here, but I like it. Better than the hot temps. How are you feeling? I hope everything is ok. And your daughter, is she well? my 8yr old grandson ends camp nest week, so he will be staying with me. I'll have to rest up for that. He's very excited about the apartment. He didn't like to come visit at my sisters. Kids are so smart. They somehow know whats going on even though you try to keep it away from them. Take care my friend.

hi sue,
i am doing as usual. the cool weather is a relief. i am sick of the humidity. i laughed about your grandson not wanting to go to the sister's house ... i wonder why??? kids are smart and pick up vibes. you will have agood time with him, eight is a good age for games and cards so you should be fine.
jordan, my grandson who lives with me, had his orientation at high school this week and liked it, and is going to football practice everyday so it is busy here. my other grandson is a senior at a different high school, so i will be going from school to school to watch practice and games.
my daughter is doing well, thank you for asking. i was watching her sonogram dvd last night and those are busy boys in there and adorable. i can't wait to get my hands on them. i was at her house yesterday helping her get organized. it is all coming along.
let me know how the therapist is. i wish you luck with that.
and again so relieved for you and the move!
love you hip sister, joan

Hi Joan,
Just as we were getting used to the cool weather, here comes the hot stuff again. I guess thats what living in New England is all about.
It must be fun going to the football games. I am a big football fan. Patriots all the way. My husband thinks I am crazy. I yell and scream at the tv, put on my Patriots shirts. I have such a good time and while Iam watching, I don't think about the pain as much. If we go to the Superbowl, I'll have a big Superbowl party. I am praying that I can have that party this year. My daughter is coming over tonite, Iam going to see if she can show me how to send a picture of the kids to your e-mail. Its great to see the babies on the ultrasound. I always get so excited at those Dr. visits. I have all their pictures that they take. You must be so excited! Try to stay cool.
