HI Joan,
Boy it was so hot wasn't it. It bothers my feet too. They swell up so fast. We are going to the kids house again today. Its going to be good to get out. My husband has been home for 4 days without going anywhere. He is driving me crazy. Have a good day and stay cool. Its supposed to get cooler tommorow. I can't wait.

Love

hi sue,
here's hoping it cooled off for you, and that your husband got the heck out of the house for a while. maybe you could go to a library or some where like that for some quiet time.
my feet swell badly in the humidity too, and if the barometer changes rapidly.
well tomorrow is my grandson's [the one who lives with me] first day back at school! isn't it grand!!! ha! and he will have football everyday after school until 5:30. oh glorious peace!!! now i need to get my sewing done for my daughter's shower! never a dull moment.
love, your hip sister, joan

hi sue,
i know the feeling well. i get irritable just from noise sometime, it is because we are in pain and already using all we have to deal with that. and i don't know how to handle not being alone sometimes. it is a necessity to me to be alone and just hear nothing.
as far as kids go, like i said, they give us good feeling while they take our last ounce of energy. it is not patience or love you are lacking, it is just that your body and mind and spirit are over taxed.
i am here for you my friend, your hip sister, joan

Joan,
I am so glad your here. I told the nurse about you yesterday.I don't know what I'd do without you. I didn't know about your other foot. Iam sorry. I know that this is RSD in my foot. It feels just like the other one did. Your right about alone time. I get so anxious when ther are alot of people around. The noise just drives me crazy. I got your-mail. Its hot here too. I don't usually wish for rain, but i am today. Maybey it will cool it off. Stay well my friend.

so you are talking about me to a nurse, eh? i tell eveyone i have met my twin. it still amazes me.
i hope you cooled off. we are still warm tonight and i am hoping to awake to cool in the morning.
now if your husband does not go out tomorrow, you go sit somewhere quiet. you need some peace sister! my jordan has a full day of football tomorrow and my husband works all day fridays so i will have some 'me' time. yeah!
love, your hip sister, joan

Joan,
We do have alot of people reading our posts. Its amazing. You must be so excited. The twins are almost here. Tell your daughter from one twin mom to another that I wish her all the best. Twins are so much fun. My husband and I were talking and we can't belive that Jennifer and Nicole will be 27 on Sept. 9th. its true we are like twins in so many ways.

Love, Your "hip sister"

HI Sue,
my susan's birthday, the one having the twins, is september 6th and she will be 37. so your twins were born almost 10 years to the day after she was. my son was 35 june 1st. the boys are due on december 28th but we assume they wil be early. we're having her shower october 21st. so she is not allowed a single contraction before that date!
now when is your birthday??? mine is may 30th.
oh and i keep meaning to ask you if you were a breech baby. i was and the doctor said my hip problem was probably from that, so i was wondering if you were too or if you had birth complications that you know of.
so i got a lot of quilting done today and i so am getting to the end of quilt two! then i will start the snow suits that are peas in a pod! ha! oh they are cute. i have the pattern cut out so i just need to get to putting it on the material and then sew. i keep thinking of things i want to make before the babies arrive ... i will never get done. but i like to keep my hands busy.
well, hope your weekend is nice and quiet for ya.
love, your hip sister, joan

Hi Joan,
My bithday is January 15th. I will be 49. Yes I was a breech baby. Boy are we alike. I wish I knew how to quilt. They have a class at my church. I think Iam going to join it. I love to sew and do crafts. my favorite thing to make are christmas ornaments. Right now Iam cutting out gingerbread men for the church fair. I had a really good night . I sent my husband to our old street to hang out with his friends. He misses them so much. I think that is part of his problem. He still isn't home yet, which is good. I sound awfull don't I? My daughter is picking him up on her way to work. I have to babysit today. I better get my rest now.Shes getting so big. 15 lbs and its hard roe me to hold her. Have a good day.
