What type of magnesium are you taking there are 4 types. I take 800 mg a day. The one i take comes from Dr. Sinatra. I have never had a problem. Check out products at www.drsinarta.com

Best way to get the magnesium into your system is to use unperfumed Epsom salts in a warm bath or to get the cream. Your skin absorbs the magnesium really well, and it doesn't upset your stomach You need to do it regularly, but it really is effective.

Magnesium oxide form is a laxative.... it doesn't work and just makes you "go".

This lotion if you are in the US is at WalMart and Walgreen's...and is just very handy and excellent. I think it is better absorbed than the epsom salt baths. It is also now on Amazon.com

http://www.mortonsalt.com/for-your-h...-epsom-lotion/

Use directly on the target area... only small amounts are necessary. This is not a moisturizer, and the magnesium should be used carefully. Start with a quarter sized dollop on you arm once a day and see what happens. If you take blood pressure drugs, monitor your pressures. This lotion lowers my blood pressure from high readings to normal.
