Default question

Today I have been getting a strange sharp pain from inside my ear to the back of my throat. I also have been getting sharp shooting pain in my head on the right side of my head. It starts above my ear and goes up to the top of my head. All of this is on my right side. Crps started on my right lower leg from knee to foot. Does any one get this or has it ever happened to any one?
I am scheduled to do lower lumbar nerve block on the 29th of this month.

Hi Phaedra,
It happens to me all the time. It is on my left side (my CRPS started in my left arm/shoulder and now full body). This issue drive me crazy with pain sometimes at other times just noticable. The only thing different with me is the bad headaches happen in the middle of my brain.
The pain starts by CRPS nerves kinda like swell and obstructs muscles. Of course I also have degerative cerebral atrophy.
I hope this won't lead into a stroke like me...
Be safe and good luck with that block. Hope you find relief...

Hey Phaedra!

I do get these sharp, shooting pains in my head. Most of them are in the right side like between my ear and temple and shoot upwards. They hurt like crazy and stop me in my tracks! I was getting what I call ice-pick like headaches in the top of my head and got botox injections and it helped...problem was I had an allergic reaction to the botox and couldn't get them again I have gotten migraines since I was a kid, these are different and have been chalked up to RSD. I did have a CTA to rule out anything else.

Hope you get some relief soon!
