Interesting question. Do you have any change in color, sweating, nail or hair changes, any other symptoms besides pain relating to pressure?
Have you been actually diagnosed with CRPS or any other condition?

My understanding is that in order to be diagnosed with CRPS, you must have evidence of edema, changes in skin blood flow or abnormal sudomotor activity in the region of pain.

Pain alone may not be enough for a CRPS diagnosis. But the burning sensation you are experiencing sure sounds familiars. But we're not doctors here. Others will likely chime in.
