Default Support / friends

I would like to find some friends that have RSD. If there is anyone that would like to talk & or vent at some point during the day. My main support was my mom who passed July 2013. She believed me when we were going Dr to Dr. and them saying the pain was in my head. I first lost my job & then friends that keep saying yeah I understand and a week later gone. If this sounds like little bits of what's happened to you. I am a good listener. That is about the one part of my body the RSD hasn't gone to.

I lost my mom in 2012.....not one day goes by that I don't think about her and wish she was here for me as well.....I can very much relate to all that you have said....people that don't have RSD just do not get it at all for the most part. Only one friend and my boyfriend have truly stuck beside me at this point. Even then I wonder when the day will come that I complained one too many times

Hi Lis,
Welcome to the forum.
We're all good listeners and talkers here too. For myself I'm on and off here but willing to listen and chat about most anything that comes to mind.
I saw your post and figured to jump in to welcome you.
Be talking to ya'...

The room I am renting is luckily from a best friend & her fiancé. I am sure he tries to understand but he will say just do it or make yourself up to it. Even my brothers stay away from me. Neither asked me to move in when my mom passed. Your very lucky to have a boyfriend that has stuck by you! Since all my back surgeries & my RSD. I am in bed most of my days. I am trying to find others that TRULY UNDERSTAND! Thanks for responding back LISAR624

Thank you so much for responding! I am trying to chat with others that are suffering with this horrible disease. People, family& friends say they understand and feel my pain but that is like me telling someone that is suffering from cancer. I know how they are feeling? Loved ones try but unless they have FELT it..... Great talking to you! LISAR624
