Default Thank you for your prayers

Our little angel passed away in her sleep yesterday morning. She was surrounded by so much love, we could not have asked for a better way. So far we seem to be doing as well as can be expected. Our 4 year old is at grandma's house, but our 12 year old stayed home, at first I didn't think it was a good idea for her to witness what was happening, but she was great. I think my 12 year old, Sarah, held the grown-ups together. We will lay Josie to rest Friday, next to her grandfather. To say i'm ready for that would be a lie, but to think she is no longer suffering, that is a blessing. At this point I haven't "lost it", but I'm sure as soon as I shut my brain down i'll have a emotional break down. Thank you for all your support and all your prayers. If you could have seen the peace in our baby and us, you would know the prayers worked. I just wanted you to know I appreciated all your support.

Dolphin, you have my deepest sympathies. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It may be something someone else has to face some day, God forbid... and having this to look back on may be a real blessing.

Josie, rest well, darlin, in God's hands.

Dear Dolphin,

You and your family are in my heart and prayers. I am deeply sorry for your precious loss. Love, Roz

"Death of a Child"
Sorry I didn't get to stay.
To laugh and run and play.
To be there by your side.
I'm sorry that I had to die.
God sent me down to be with you,
to make your loving heart anew.
To help you look up and see
Both God and little me.

Mommy, I wish I could stay.
Just like I heard you pray.
But, all the angels did cry
when they told little me goodbye.

God didn't take me cause He's mad.
He didn't send me to make you sad.
But to give us both a chance to be
a love so precious .. don't you see?

Up here no trouble do I see
and the pretty angels sing to me.
The streets of gold is where I play
you'll come here too, mommy, someday.

Until the day you join me here,
I'll love you mommy, dear.
Each breeze you feel and see,
brings love and a kiss from me.

Heart

((((((Dolphin)))))),

My heart aches for you and your family.

I truly believe that those who are allowed to take their next steps early have completed all their work here in this realm. Josie spread love everywhere her name was spoken.

I'll say a quiet prayer tonight for your precious daughter. I pray that you and your family and friends can support each other and hold each other through the painful days ahead.

Bless you, Dolphin, for having the strength to let Josie take her next steps. Hugs.

Barb

Dolphin, I extend my sincere condolences to you and the entire family. Please know however, that the grace of God will not leave you in your time of mourning. You see, it is now that his grace becomes GREATEST.

My prayer is that you experience the tender care that only comes from above, and that your family and friends will see the grace of God upon you. I pray that you will look back and be amazed at how you were able to get through your grieving. You have already witnessed the power of prayer in getting through to this present time, and there is more to come.

Please allow me to leave you with the comfort of the following passages:
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil 4:6-8.

In humble submission,
EJ
