Default Had a scare

Man I had a scare a couple of weeks ago! I also think that they worsened the RSD with the treatment.

The scar I have where they took out the clot in the femoral artery developed an abscess. I didnt even feel it developing because it never registered any pain above the RSD pain. When I noticed it, it was already huge!

They put me on 3 antibiotics, but after a few days it wasnt getting any better. So they cut into it. It was so close to the femoral artery and nerves they were afraid to cut very much, but they were able to clean it out good.

Ever since they did that, it has been pain off the charts! They said it was pretty serious and I was lucky I came in when I did. I tell ya the flashbacks of laying around with a huge wound in my leg and groin came back like a nightmare!

So if you have a scar or scars where you were wounded and caused RSD. It is a good idea to inpsect the area every couple of days. Ya never know what might be developing if it doesnt break through the pain you already suffer from. They said it should have hurt like crazy......I told them it does! Just wasnt hurting enough to get past the RSD pain.
