Doctors have a hard time accepting complications. My original ortho kept insisting my first procedure was a "success". Problem can be hardware or can also be scar tissue tethering a nerve somewhere or a scar neuroma. I sent you a PM. check out the article at the bottom of my nerve injury post. Really interesting case. I think we owe it to ourselves to explore all possibilities. Then if there really is nothing left you can move forward with accepting that.
