Default Swelling and elevated blood pressure question

Ok this is for anyone that has taken MS-CONTIN. I have been on it now for about 15 days, stated at 15mg once a day and am now at 30mg once a day. I am noticing that I am staying swollen all over, not just my effected leg but my hands, face, arms, and opposite leg. My blood pressure has also gone through the roof. My dr doesn't seem concerned, he said my blood pressure is most likely due to my pain levels and once they go down my BP will go down. I can't find anything that says the meds cause swelling like this but that is the only thing that has changed recently and the last time I was this swollen I was hospitalized with pre-eclampsia with my daughter and I can't have anymore babies. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
