Another block should work, and it might build on the effects of this one.

I've had blocks that worked for a few hours and I've had blocks that have lasted for over a year (in an area of spread).

The technique of the doc can make a big difference, but not everyone reacts the same and it's impossible to predict.

I think it's bad advice to push your activity to the point where you'd normally cause a flare. That's never worked for me.

I called the pm office and they said that the local sometimes lasts a couple days in some people and before the steroid kicks in the nerve is irritated and inflamed (my neck is hot and red and puffy too). I really hope I have a couple weeks worth of relief and this is just a set back. You are right though pushing it was not helpful. Now I'm gonna try to use it as little as I can for the rest of the day and hope for the best. Thanks for your input. Hearing your experience makes me feel more positive :)

Let us know if they do more for you and how they work!!! :grouphug:
