I had horrible problems on even low doses of Lyrica. I have never done drugs, but it was like what you see in the movies when someone is tripping on acid.

Every time I would move my head the walls would move too. The floor was moving. Everything was moving. IT was horrible, like a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. My arm was MORE on fire. I don't know how or why this happened, but I did read up on it, and it only works for a small percentage of people, but for some reason the doctors think it should work on everyone.

I wish you luck.

I had a similar experience, although maybe not as severe. I also gained 10 pounds in a month, even while restricting calories. I also had new pain, which was so bad it woke me up at night. I was on gabapentin before that, so my doctors expected I wouldn't have many or any side effects. I overlooked the first few side effects rubbing they'd go away, but instead they got worse and as we went up on the dose, I had more side effects. I'm sorry you're going through this. I found it hard to convince my doctors to take me of and put me back on gabapentin. I hope your doctors are now responding.

Frown

Glad I didn't stay on it for long. I had a terrible reaction to it. I had joint pain and a nasty flare and broke out in this terrible rash that itches so bad I feel like I'm gonna lose it. So looks like those are out for me and we are gonna try a lumbar sympathetic injection in 2 weeks.
