Default Savella HELP!

Did your doc titrate your dosages like this:

Day 1: 12.5mg
Days 2-3: 12.5 mg 2x a day
Days 4-7: 25 mg 2x a day
After day 7: 50 mg 2x a day

Thank you!

I wish I could benefit from Your posting Lit Love. No Savella for me. The prescription was rejected by my insurance. Hopefully Cymbalta will be approved.

I don't know. But I do know it is only approved for MS.

I just was called by the pharmacy about the Cymbalta.

Hi LitLove,

I googled "savella titration schedule" and the schedule you have is what came up at both EMPR.com and drugs.com for the treatment of fibromyalgia. Seems pretty standard, which is not to say it is tolerable for everyone....

I hope it works! Let us know.

I received the schedule from the Savella site. My doc hasn't prescribed it yet 9or at least in many years), so I wanted to find out if that was the norm. We're going to address it at my next appointment.

Thanks everybody!

Cymbalta did, but it caused me very severe stomach pain after a few months.

Thank you LitLove! Sorry a bad result.

Since Insurance denied both Savella and Cymbalta I am taking it as as a sign and looking for alternatives.
