Default Oral Ketamine

Hi everyone,

I have severe chronic neuropathic pain, including allodynia.

I just started on oral ketamine 2mgs. 3 times a day.

If any of you kind people have any experience with this as far as the dose you started getting some pain relief or any thing you could share, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much and I hope you all have a very good day...

Hi Vitagewine,

English Dave takes oral ketamine and has expressed in posts that it provides him with relief. He will probably see this and respond. We also have another member who recently started it and noticed a difference in just 24 hours. I am getting low dose infusions every two to three weeks and it is definitely doing something positive.

I hope it helps you too!

Default Has been a blessing!

hi There,

I just started Oral Ketamine last week and noticed a difference in 24 hours. It is one of the only things that has helped in pain management & severe allodynia. I am on 45 mgs every 8 hours. The first dose threw me for a loop as far as a disconnect between body and mind. I also had a headache for 24 hours. I no longer have any side effects and feel really good. I react weird to meds so it actually doesn't make me sleepy (I get a little kick from it) but please be careful as it can cause extreme drowsiness & you should be careful if you are driving. (I don't take it and drive for an hour bc in the beginning I was getting dizzy). I really didn't think that it would work this fast & I really noticed a difference after 4 days. I am hoping that the Ketamine continues to work & love that it isn't being pushed by huge pharmaceutical companies. They actually have to compound the drug @ an old timey drug store. I felt that the pain management companies were pushing and selling the SCS just because they had a contract with a certain company. With this drug, it's the opposite & hopefully will help me regain the ability to walk.

Good luck & thanks for posting this. I was very nervous at first but have had great results!
