Default Dry eye

In the past months I noticed that my eyes have gotten drier and drier. First it was a blob in each corner of the eye which progressed to crusts and now my eyes are crusted over in the morning. I wonder if this is another CRPS manifestation.

I dread discussing this with a doctor based on my friends' experiences with their doctors and classic dry eye symptoms. The drops they were prescribed had preservatives which gave them problems. The next drops they were given did not work.

Before I talk to the medicos I am going to try a few holistic cures like baking soda water compresses and castor oil swabs.

I am not a doctor nor do I play one. With that being said Walmart has a dry eye moist heat compress that claims to replenish moisture, immediate relief and safe for daily use....dunno how it would work for crps. I found this by accident for a friend. She hasn't tried it yet.

[QUOTE=BioBased;1166517]In the past months I noticed that my eyes have gotten drier and drier. First it was a blob in each corner of the eye which progressed to crusts and now my eyes are crusted over in the morning. I wonder if this is another CRPS manifestation.

When this happened to my kids, they had pink eye which required an antibiotic eye drop. If your compress does not alleviate this, i would go to a doctor. As for dry eye, i use over the counterdrops called 'refresh' they dont sting my eyes. My eye dr said to stay away from the ones for allergies and the ones that remove redness because both can exacerbate the dryness.
