Default Medicaid coverage for crps

Hi everyone. I am new here. I'm sorry we're all here, but at the same time it will be nice to finally talk to people who really understand what it's like to live with this. I have crps in my leg and foot for a year and a half and I'm feeling really scared and sad tonight. I thought it would help me to join here.

For now I have really good insurance that has covered everything I need for crps, and other chronic pain problems too. For financial reasons I am looking into Medicaid. Does anyone know if they cover treatments, injections, meds, PT and more invasive procedures for crps? I'm nervous about changing insurance, but if the coverage is good I might.

Any answers are appreciated
Thanks.

Hi and Welcome

I am sorry you have had to join us but it is a soft place to land. We all understand feeling sad and scared and are here to help with sharing and support.

I don't know about Medicaid coverage for CRPS. You might start with your doctor's office. Of course you'll want to know if they take it and the financial people should be able to tell you how well they are able to get things covered.

Are you applying for disability? If you have the work history you would be able to get Medicare. If you have stayed home with Bailey and not racked up enough credits recently then yeah, you're stuck with Medicaid.

Let us know what you find out. I hope you have a comfortable day.
