A quiet Christmas is on my roster. My daughters, their boyfriends and my sister will get together on Christmas Eve for dinner. My older daughter and husband will do the cooking and house prep.

Spike,

I hope your Christmas Day is as comfortable as possible and you are able to FaceTime or Skype with all those brothers and sisters. Thanks for the lovely Christmas blessing.

We are in town Christmas day. I am looking forward to Christmas morning because my son is having a stellar one this year and it's just so fun to watch. Kids all ages just make it great. We are kind of loosy-goosy with our plan. I don't know what I am doing about dinner. I don't know what time we are going to church. I may have last minute guests. Just feeling laid back about the whole thing. Maybe I will buy tamales...and do something crazy like go to midnight service. As if I could stay up that late...

Then closer to New Year's we travel to see my family and have another Christmas. Oh boy! There are very young children in that bunch so it's gonna be lively. I am just so grateful I can get there much more comfortably than last year.

Sending thoughts of peace and healing. May all the beauty of the season be with you.

Sweet! I just love it, when some one else cooks. I grow tired of toaster waffles. And I don't think they'll work for me as a Christmas dinner!

I truly hope that you enjoy Christmas with your family. Sounds like fun!
