Hello everyone,

My son broke his foot slipping on the stairs at a friend's last night and fractured a metatarsal. It isn't a terrible break and isn't displaced (yay!) but I am just paranoid about feet now and since he has half my genes... He's in a walking boot, no crutches, per the urgent care doc. He'll see ortho as soon as we can get him in.
Getting around in high school sounds ugh...

I started him on Vit C 500mg today.

Prayers and healing vibes are much appreciated. I know the chance of him ending up with CRPS is extremely slim (I didn't and won't mention it) but we'll take all the extra fire power against it we can get!

I hope he will be fine. I would tell you to try not to worry, but since that isn't likely to happen, I will imagine and pray for this to pass quickly and soon become a faint memory.

Good vibes, thoughts and prayers headed your way. The one good thing, I'm sure you already know, is kids bounce back quick. It always amazes me how they can get back on their feet in such little time. Good luck (to your both)!
