Default Tell the fda to approve crps treatments!

Hi everybody,

Until my wife was diagnosed with CRPS/RSD, I had no idea exactly how morally irresponsible and reprehensible insurance companies could be... We were denied coverage for her ketamine infusions (inpatient and outpatient), and while I plan to appeal, luckily we have the financial resources to take care of the first loading dose. So many people aren't so lucky.

If you have a moment, please sign the Change.org petition below (which is currently circulating on a lot of CRPS/RSD forums). If we can get the FDA to approve ketamine and other treatments that are actually effective for CRPS/RSD, insurance companies will no longer be able to pull the "not medically necessary" / "experimental" / "investigational" card and deny claims for this and other NECESSARY treatments.

Thank you.

Thanks, this is great!

I am sorry your wife's treatment did not get covered. There must be differences in the insurance companies. My outpatient infusions of ketamine were approved. I have a high deductible so it does end up still being out-of-pocket but at least it applies to my deductible.

Thank you for that link. It is so frustrating that there are so many treatments that do seem to help are either extremely difficult to get insurance companies to approve or they just are not covered.

Default Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this petition with us. I really appreciate it. I signed it and I hope we can continue to make more people aware of this awful and devastating disease that takes everything away until there's nothing left.
