Default Wiped out from yesterday. What one day can do to us!!!!

You know we have talked about our energy level and what we can handle and can't but like Unrouley1 had said one time. I can't believe how one day of fun can wipe anyone out.

I went over to the kids house for a cookout and fireworks. It was fun. All I did was sit around and talk to the kids. I was the oldest one there by the way out of 30+ people. I had my picture taken several times by what I always call my adopted kids. They all had to have pictures with me. I watched the fireworks. I got there at 4 and left at 11. That's how long the fireworks went also and still plenty left. LOL They actually cut it short this year since it was in the middle of the week and some had to work and also since they moved out to my place, they wanted to respect my neighbors.
Although I only have the 2 Grandkids, I had 13 there last night that calls me Grandma. I love that and I get hugs and kisses all the time from everyone.
I really enjoyed myself but I don't feel like I did anything strenous.

I am so wiped out today I can't think straight or do anything. I have already took one nap and need another one. My eyes keep closing while I sit here typing.

My left foot is getting worse but I'm kind of thinking it's the RSD coming out in it. It's spreading and as I laid in bed it felt like it was cold. More parts of it is hurting also.

Susan's going to run me to the next town over this weekend and buy me a pair of the shoes we were talking about. Right now I can't even think of the name of them but she found a place nearby on the internet that does sell them, about 35 miles away. Mike I am taking your advice and make sure they are the better quality of them. What you said made sense. I have heard that about other brands lately.

It's just hard to believe that we cannot enjoy anything without paying a price. It seems crazy to me at times and frustrating too.

What kind of day did you all have and how are you feeling today? I hope it was good but you aren't paying the price today.

Thanks for the good help all of you have given me about allergies, shoes and other issues. I do appreciate all you help me with. I cannot do much research on here. After going to 10 websites looking for one thing and just getting advertisments on what things cost then I just get frustrated and give up. I tried looking up side effects of meds yesterday and all I get is the prices of what they cost. The computer is now becoming an advertisement for the world of merchandise out there.

Thanks again,
Ada

Sometimes I know what I did to feel lousy and other times not.

I should have felt great today.

I hate it when I am so shattered I can't do anything. It's pretty rough. I find myself so exhausted that even lying down seems effortful and when having light, noise or anything just makes it worse! It's so hard because you get so tired you can't sleep and I find myself in Zombie phases where I feel that cognitively I can't do anything.

I am lucky that a couple of years ago I started a program that got alot of the dreadful exhaustion under control, and it's fine as long as I am very very strict about following it every day, but since going to uni I have lost control and so am back on the total exhaustion highs and lows which make so much more complicated.

The only thing that helped me was getting into a very very strict routine and trying to make sure that every day I was up and sitting for a 3 hours, then lying down again, then getting up again and getting into a strict timetable and being careful not to overdo it. However, then I'd flare, or get an infection and it was back to stage one again!!!

Much love

Hi Ada,
Boy, do I know what it feels like to have the "Blahs"... There are just some days when I wake up in the morning and I just start out feeling exhausted. It seems that it takes just about everything I have just to get out of bed to do a few things and then I am back in there for the better part of the day.
Some days I go for a short walk with my husband and by the time we are done with our walk my day is pretty much thru.
If I am having a good day I tend to do a little more than I should and I end up paying for it for a couple of days. I do try and pace myself but even then I still find myself with higher pain levels later that day and the days following along with just plain old exhaustion and that wasn't me.
I can remember shopping all day long, staying up late at night and then getting up early the next morning to head off to work a 24 hour shift.
Gee, this nerve stuff really gets back at us one way or another. I know that will never happen again...
I do hope that you are able to get the rest you need and that you will feel better in the days to come...
Many Hugs
Dawn
