They truly are no big deal to use. I didn't bother getting any training when I got my first set and they were installed in a really powerful, fast car. It just takes a few days to get used to them and then you are on your way. It rapidly becomes second nature to drive that way.

Standard push pull hand controls are really cheap in the grand scheme of things. They are cheap to buy and have installed and I've never had any of my three sets maintained, repaired or serviced. I have them installed in my new car, drive my car for three years then hand it back, get a new one and start all over again. None of my hand controls have ever needed anything done. I'm amazed that more people don't have them fitted or seem to be unaware that they exist.
