I could write a book on my battles with WC. My original injury was a sprain in my right ankle that required surgery. Then came the CRPS battle. They originally paid for the all of the medications and doctor's appointments associated with CRPS until I had my IME. The doctor from my IME said I was faking and there was nothing wrong with me so they stopped paying for everything. Long story short I was diagnosed with CRPS in December 2013 and in December 2015 the judge sided with us and ordered WC to cover the CRPS.

Sorry to write so much but WC really gets my blood boiling. I have learned that paperwork gets lost all the time! I'm sure you already know but document everything and make sure you get the names, dates and times of everyone you speak with.

I find it admirable that through all of the pain and frustration you continue to be an amazing mother. I am hoping that they get their butts in gear and allow you access to the resources that you need.

Thanks...I do make sure to document, document, document...my third rodeo with work comp unfortunately and I hate it every single time and wish it wasn't necessary. Seriously...I would love to never ever ever have to deal with them again. But...accidents happen and I'm not about to give up working if I can help it and I will do my job the best I can despite the RSD which puts me in situations where I can get injured. I may be avoiding ladders in the future as much as possible though.

I was very lucky with my first IME. The dr they paid to do it didn't want to so he passed it off to his partner...who agreed 100% with the RSD diagnosis. Since then they had one who said not RSD but didn't know what it was. At any rate...the case for the RSD is over and settled for me...now the RSD is just a complicating factor.

Seriously though....my pain in the shoulder and arm is worse and now has worsened to include my neck and upper back on the left side. I am thinking at this point there is some nerve involvement. Didn't get any sleep last night due to this new development.

My little girl seems a lot better today. She still has a cold but the pink eye seems 100% better and she is a pretty happy girl. I literally can't lift her at all today but she's walking around a lot so I mostly just have to follow her around. Today she did the cutest thing though...I gave her a piece of chicken and she made chicken wings with her arms and said, "bak bak"...never seen her do that before but have done it in front of her many times (with one arm as the left is unable to do such silly antics). The rate she is learning new things is just incredible and amazing. I wish I could be a better mom to her but am doing my best and am lucky to have such an easy going little girl.

Sorry to be such a whiner these days...it's just been a really rough few weeks and this week especially with the worsening of symptoms and being sick and having the baby 24/7 (which I would totally love if I were healthy). I'm just going to keep trying to focus on the important things and stay positive for my little girl. I'll get through this...

Worker's comp is awful! I actually spent WEEKS waiting on an approval only to find out that the claims adjuster had been faxing it to the wrong number. Come on, really? Like she hadn't been faxing things to this doctor's office for me multiple times already, suddenly she lost their number? And the number of times she "didn't get" the requests from my doctor I can't even begin to count.
