Default Finally!

I finally got to schedule my appointment with pain management doctor...yay!

Earliest appointment they had was April 28th so just another 4 weeks and hopefully I will get some sort of relief. I'm not getting my hopes up too much for the first appointment because I feel like the dr will want more tests and am also worried that I will end up needing surgery (because when you sit around for a month waiting for approval you can't help but think about worst case scenario) but I am hoping at least for some relief. Plus...you can't have a second visit without a first so at least I am on the path again to relief...

Yay!!!

It is about time. I hope that surgery is not necessary, but after this long of a wait, you never know. You have been waiting since, October or November if I remember correctly. That is an awfully long time to have to deal with an injury and WC.

Great news Catra,

It can feel so much more hopeful just having a plan can't it?

I will continue to keep you in my thoughts. If you do need surgery, just remember there are anesthesia options that minimize the risks and addressing pain contributors (even in a CRPS site) can improve outcome per some of the research out there.

No matter what you need I hope relief is coming your way soon,

That is great news! It sucks that you won't be seen until the 28th though. Maybe someone will cancel so you can get in soon! One step closer to answers and treatments.
