Default Ligature mark

Has anyone else experienced a ligature mark? Since I started LDN most of the severe redness has diminished from my leg, ankle and foot, but sometimes I experience a pink color on my CRPS leg, which stops at my ankle. When this happens my foot and ankle are very white. It sometimes looks as if a string was tied between my leg and ankle.

It hasn't happened as much lately, but yes! I have full-body RSD, but it's worse in my feet and originated in one foot. Depending on what area is flaring, I'll either see a line where everywhere below/above the line is a different color. It's a very distinguishable "line" too. The same thing happens sometimes with swelling. It happened once in both legs within a few months of my original diagnosis quite a number of years back during an ER visit for something (RSD-related I'm sure, but I don't remember why since this was nearly a decade ago haha). I know that they thought that I had some sort of serious blood clot and were freaking out because of my other symptoms in conjunction with that. Nope, just discoloration. A doppler was done that basically confirmed that.

RSD is quite a strange condition with quite "unique" symptoms sometimes

Nic and Mommy,

Thank you for telling me about your experiences. I was beginning to think I was the only one who had seen this. Now I won't worry too much about the "string" when it occurs.
