Hi, I am new here. I have never posted any questions or concerns before, this is my first time. I have a very long medical history. March 2005 I fell at work causing a severe ankle sprain, along with crushing my foot. Sixteen months later I had neuroma surgery on my right foot. Then when I went to physical therapy where the therapist put a piece of ice on the bottom of my foot. I jerked my foot away, it felt like fire!! Since then 2 more surgeries, and a whole lot of pain that is unpredictable.
What I am experincing now is profuse sweating. I can be doing nothing, sitting in my chair and I feel like I just got out of the shower. Soaking wet, I lean forward in my chair or where ever I am. Pull my hair up, place my hands on top of my head and wait for it to stop. I've read about the thermal regulator being part of the autonomic nervous system that is getting incorrect information (dysfunctional). Does anyone else experience this as part of CRPS?

Hello,I also fell at work shattered my right heel ,broke back and very bad broken wrist about 10 years ago,I had reconstructive calcanious surgery 'heel' and did rehab for a year befor I went back to work as an iron worker.my first symptoms of rsd besides the pain was severe sweating ,while sleeping ,working ,whatever .i had to have multiple shirts with me,from there my conditioned just started to get worse and worse ,would miss work for weeks at a time unable to get out of bed from pain, fatigue, swelling .until I was unable to work anymore.took 3 years to diagnoise my condition, ketamine infusion helped the first couple times, but now it doesn't.its important for you to try and get treated as much as possible befor it spreads and can get worse .i wish I was able to catch mine early.good luck with everything .
