Unrouley--WAY TO GO GIRL!!! You sure DO have "backbone"!! It will take a little adjustment for yuor little girl, but once things settle down, and they SEE and FEEL how much better things are, without being subjected to all the "conflicts", you ALL will do JUST FINE!!

Bet your RSD calms down, too! Stress is just a HORRIBLE aggravator...

SUNNIER, HAPPIER DAYS to YOU and your little one!

Most Sincerely

a quick note to tell you all that seeing all these positive replies is like getting real mail in the mailbox! thanks for building me up.

and hey... i took my pain pill and it looks like it's workin.

yes, this is the sister that lives close to the woods. the house that they are building is on top of a hill IN the woods, but it won't be liveable until september. the construction site is an absolute disaster and you have to climb a ladder to get inside. i'm staying away so i don't get hurt.

i got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed yesterday. that was a mistake because it felt like my skin was torn off. once again something that i don't think i will do again. everything is ultra ultra sensitive. so i am slowly learning what i can and can't do. ice is the biggie and my nieces and nephew already know to scoop the ice cream. :D

so anyway, i think i am learning to adapt to my body and i'm taking precautions as to not over-do anything (which is a nasty habit). i'm being responsible.

shalom,

I second what Froggsy said, with RSD, prevention is the key, so it's better never to bite the bullet and put up with the pain. Better to take the pain pill now before the pain escalates in your hands any more... those pain messages like to get real comfy and cozy in your nerves. You don't want that!

I'm really proud of you. and wow! Dr Laura! I'm impressed that you called her! She scares the living daylights out of me!!

Hi again Unrouley, it seems to me that you are DESTINED to be WHERE you are, at this point in your life, even if you "need a ladder"..

"i thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.

- e. e. cummings ".....

You have followed your SOUL, Unrouley!!!

You are so VERY INSPIRING!!! (Gives me "goose-bumps"!!!)

The VERY best wishes!

meds

hey ang,

just pm'd ya, as usual didn't look at postings first! just wanted to stick my two cents in about meds. i know you said you get that "popcorn popping" under your skin and wanted to tell you that i take 4mg zanaflex 4 times a day for that and it does help, not completely gone, but settles it down. as far as pain goes you must be VERY strong indeed! i am a whimp and take ultram 50mg two tabs three times a day like clockwork and oxycodone for breakthrough pain and sometimes that doesn't even do it. if my pain gets too bad i too have a tens unit that helps but hate wearing it. i also take elavil 25mg evey night at bed time and that has truly helped. hope to hear from ya soon, will check pm's later and again tomorrow. stay strong, you ARE doing the right thing..........jen
