Default Acupuncture, have any of you had it?

I was wondering if any of you have tried this. There was a lady on Montel Williams last week with RSD and she was told to go to get acupuncture done.

Have any of you had this and what did it do for you?

I know we talked about this before but it was a long time ago.

Default acupuncture

I had acupuncture early in my treatment, and I didn't notice any pain relief. My PT didn't give me any false hope, that it would work, and for me it didn't.

I had it and it made me a lot worse. I ended up in hospital after having it. However, I know alot of people who have got alot better after having it. Yet again it turns out that there is a treatment that help some people but not others..

could be worth a try though!

love

This was the first thing they did for my RSD but it was two years too late. Some of the sessions caused a lot of pain. They ran electricity throught the needles and told me to turn it up as high as I could stand. Apparently the spasming muscles were too much work for them so I got pain later.

One of the times, though, they ran a current in just the right place and it gave pretty good relief which seemed to last more than 24 hours. The doctor refused to repeat it and I stopped treatment.

I recently got a tens unit and early results are promising. It's probably not going to cure the problem but it "buries" low level pain (Up top about level 3). Twenty minutes without pain and my B/P drops from 160/105 to 120/69. It's a nice little vacation.
