Hi Tayla,

I'll find out tonight. The lady is coming at 4 today to bring it out.

This morning I have an appt. with my Immunologist. I had some test done so I want to find out how they turned out and my PCP wants me to continue going. He thinks he might find out what else I am dealing with. He thinks I have something else that hasn't been diagnosed and he is hoping this guy can help diagnose me.

Back to the CPAP. I will let you know tomorrow if I make it all night with it on.

Thank you,

Ada

Wishing you good luck with it tonight---I maybe too late:confused:
I can't recall what our time differences are, anyway, hope you have or had a good night.
Tayla

Hi Tayla,

As you can see since I am awake at 1:30 I'm not doing too good of a job with this machine. She brought me a mask. She said since the Dr. ordered that kind she had to bring it to me but I can change it off within 30 days.

I have a feeling until I get these anxiety attacks under control I won't be able to wear anything. I still feel like I'm smothering with it on. I will talk to my PCP tomorrow about them.

This has been such a bad month for me what with the VNS being turned up and then having to be turned back down. He was suppose to be able to turn it back up Monday but no one had called him back from the company to tell him at what setting we needed to set it. I don't know if if will help with the anxiety attacks or not.

I wore the mask for about an hour and that was it. I will try again before the night is over though.

How long did it take you to get use to the mask?

Thanks again for your help.

Ada

:(

Oh I am sorry it hasn't been a good night.
It took me about a fortnight before I didn't struggle against it. Where you really tired when you put it on (I know that is a silly question cos we are always tired) I always waited until I felt I was nodding off and taken my meds until I put it on.
Is it a nasal mask? Not nasal prongs?
Tayla:hug:

Hi Tayla,

I ended up sick and had nausea so I didn't wearing it because of that. I am going to try it again tonight but I think I am going to have to go with the nasal prongs due to the anxiety attacks.

I've slept most of the day due to the stomach problems so I know I'll be up late tonight. I think too with the cronic fatigue, I am so tired I think I can sleep and then I get in there and can't.

My Dr. will call me back today. I need to find out why I'm throwing up so much. This is the 3rd day in 2 weeks I have been sick.

Thanks again for the help.
Ada
