Artist: I have had that nickname for 45 years. My brother gave it to me and I called him Tut as in King Tut. By the way, Diamond Lil is the name of a certain lady of the 1890's who lived life unemcumbered by Victorian morals. It is a play was written by Mae West who said "She is me and I am her and we're both the same" if you get my drift. I don't know why he chose that name for me. I was a bookworm type. Maybe because my first name starts with an "L" - it is not Lillian by the way. To this day he calls me Lil and I call him Tut. I wonder how many of us were given nicknames when we were young and still use them. Regards, Lil

PS were you always artistic? I am still trying to draw decent stick men.

From what I've read and been told is that email confirmation is no longer needed and that all folks that were awaiting confirmation were confirmed manually.

Also Mr. Lester said he imported all of the old banned email addresses, so folks using AOL and RR in particular will have problems still.

When I know more I'll pass it around.

ZS...so if I'm banned using my RR account, can I use my hotmail e-mail addy and get in....?

I don't know why I'm asking...I'm perfectly fine here. Maybe I'll just lurk around there! laffs.

Yes you can Dana

Awhile back there was a rash of spam emails coming from RR accounts and (always) AOL accounts. Therefore a lot of places implemented a broad banning of those addresses.

Since then about half of the sites have lifted the ban, some have done a partial/temp lift, and still others kept it in place.

This also happens with ip addys and can be the reason some folks have problems or get the you've been banned message.
