So sorry to hear this Gail!! He sounds like a jerk! My orthopedic surgeon was the one to dx me with RSD, so I do have to thank him for catching this early! I told him the same thing.. I said well, you caused this RSD (So NOT like me at the time) now, I wanna rip people's heads off..:D LOL just kidding a little humor there!:winky: he said my wrist (he did a MRI/bone scan and a plain x-ray on my right wrist(The bad one) and told me there was trama there, asked me if I ever broke it?? could have when I was a drunk back in the 70's:eek: probably don't even remember!! I know all too well.. I NEVER BROKE MY WRIST.. but listen to this, Gail.. I was fooling around(Wrestling playfully) when me and Bill were young and he accidently pulled my entire hand back where my fingers could touch my entire forarm! went to ER.. here, he pulled every single ligament! I was in a stainless steel cast type thingy and was not allowed to get it wet. was in that thing for 6- 7 weeks??:Sob: cried my eyes out. Bill thinks this RSD is his fault not the carpal tunnal surgery. I told him this is when we were in our early 20's and it NEVER bothered me until after my CT surgery! he still brings it up every so often! My wrist is very small and someone(think it was my sis.) who told me that the CT testing they do.. is like a lie detectors test?? and it has very false results?? I never heard of this one before!! Hang in there, Gail! Love, Desi

Gail

Because of posts like yours,it helps others ,well all yours, not just go
into something that would cause painfull damage to those who already
are in pain and desperate. I was a nurse for many years in ER Truma.
and i wish i could say all Drs. are great but there not. And should be
reported. But many are not,i was given a cream for my leg,by a big shot
Derm Dr. and it gave me a chemical burn. A wound and burn Dr. reported
him. I can only hope Drs start helping and not harming. I am so very
sorry for what you are going through. Bless you and i hope things get
a lot better
I have PN in my hands and other places for many years, you did a beautiful
job, telling the difference between PN and RSD. But it's possiable to have
both. I hope nothing but the best for you. Excuse this mess,it takes
my hands awhile.
