Default Trying Zometa

As long as my labs come back ok, I'm going to try a Zometa infusion tomorrow. I've had CRPS for almost two years in both feet. It started in my right foot after surgery and spread to the left. Has anyone tried this that would like to share their experience? Thanks!

I've never even heard of a "Zometa infusion". What is it.

*googles*

Oh, it is a bisphosphonate.

I have had infusions with bisphosphonates (albeit a different one). I think mine was alendronate or pamidronate, I can't remember. Normally they give you like 1 a week. But I got 5 in one week, every day of the week one. It was that bad. It still is, that bad. I was diagnosed almost 3 years into this, so every and all medications came to late, save for pain medications.

It is what it is.

I hope you have more luck!!!

It is great for the osteoporosis part of the condition, though! If all else fails.
