Default Small fiber neuropathy

Hi there. I have had rsd for a few years and now have small fiber neuropathy too. It's gotten more painful lately. It's so hard to have burning and pain in ALL my limbs now!
Is anybody here dealing with the same?

Welcome Balleysmom. I'm so sorry you have rsd. I have had it for over six years now and have burning and pain all the time too which has spread to all of my limbs and face and stomach. Mine is managed by pain meds that my PM dr prescribes to me. Hope you can find some relief for your pain. Hugs.

I've had RSD since 2009, it spread to almost full body in 2011, and just last year I was also diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy. They didn't change any of my treatment to treat the SFN...but the doctor believes it started after my fall off a ladder in October 2015 (or...more accurately that is was clinically silent before the fall and after the fall the symptoms began to present themselves). My RSD has gotten much worse since that fall...so I honestly myself don't know what symptoms to attribute to what...it all just hurts.

I have RSD in 4 limbs, 2 to the point of disability (legs), 2 that are under treatment (arms). Of course, the burning & the ice rather (because it had gotten to that stage with me), is better with the Neurontin medication I am taking.

Do you take anything for your RSD?
