I've had K infusions billed through WC, but now I need one prior to a biopsy so need to use Medicare. My doc's office says they haven't had Medicare willing to cover them, but I know many Medicare patients have. If anyone has an idea the appropriate billing codes or can point me to the right direction I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Lit love,
I bet they can get this worked out for you with some finagling. I'm on commercial insurance which is more stringent than Medicare on approvals. My infusions get covered under billing for "chemotherapy - therapeutic agent". Sorry I don't have the codes. Good luck! I hope your biopsy stays comfortable and comes back ok,
