I am still so glad medication is working for me. Don't get me wrong there is residual pain there, but at least the most painful part is under control.
I don't think I ever could go for an implant and my neurosurgeon even is dead set against it for me (because I have had CRPS for so long now), it wouldn't be the right option for me, he said. So yeah. I am glad you are getting on with it, though. It seems to be doing fine for you.

Hi Catra. I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of you and praying that you are continuing to feel relief from your RSD pain with the help of the DRG.

I'm doing ok...surviving. the DRG is working great for my leg...arms are still not in great shape and I was really looking forward to my surgery scheduled for the 11th of June to get the DRG for my arms. Unfortunately...that was cancelled this week because my insurance company just changed their policy to code the DRG as investigational so all the people with blue cross who were scheduled to have the DRG implant (for any part of the body) had their surgery cancelled. My Dr is trying to set up a meeting with blue cross to get this changed, seems ridiculous if they have been covering them for years and now are like wait no that's investigational. So all of us are on a waitlist for the surgery now.
