Default Really struggling tonight.

So the pain of the Degenerative Discs is really bad tonight, and is really starting to make my CRPS flare up. It's so bad. And even more frustrating since my CRPS was stable as it can be.......it's so emotionally overwhelming.

I am so sorry that the CRPS has flared and that you are in so much pain. My prayers and thoughts are with you -- that you will sing again, songbird.

I'm sorry you have DDD Songbird. I've had it for years in my lower spine. It is very painful and the only thing that seems to help it are Advil and a good heating pad or heating blanket. Mild stretches help too. A nice epsom salt bath is also very soothing for my back. I hope you find some relief from your pain soon. Hugs and Prayers.

I'm so sorry you are having a rough time and I hope the pain is a little better today. It's always hard when things get worse.. whatever the cause. I hope you are able to find something to help ease this new pain to get you back to a manageable CRPS pain level too. Flaring myself today...winter is always rough for me with the weather. Praying for you to get relief soon.

Default Thanks everyone!

I'm going in for an MRI on the 5th so we'll get a definite answer. But they think on of the discs is herniated and will likely require surgery. He thinks that's why it's causing such severe pain and massive numbness. I literally try to move my leg and it doesn't lol. I'm stressed but feeling a little bit better today. So that's better than nothing. Thank you all for the support. And Catra I totally understand about winter I always flare more in the cold. I hope you can can find some relief too!

When I was in the hospital they let me use their heating pad machine which was pretty amazing. It runs hot water through a pad and you can lie on it. The hospital version is $500 and the home version is under $200. Medicare may pay for it apparently. Pm me for links.
