I recently got high dose IVIg - 2g/kg for a total of 125g given at 25g a day over five infusions. This is a pretty high loading dose. I wasn't expecting any relief at all the first dose, especially from the crps, which was actually not the reason I was having it. Surprisingly, I had tremendous pain relief and reduction of edema in my lower right affected quadrant for a few weeks. I'm due to have another infusion at half that amount as soon as insurance gets straightened out.

Maybe they should try high dose in these studies.
