Default hello from virginia.

hello all, my name is jay & i have had this monster R.S.D. for 14 year's now & take so many pain pill's a day i can't drive after 12 noon ect. but i still drive my tractor around when i can lol. plus my 4 yr. old grandson that keep's me going love's to drive me around on the tractor. i don't think i would be here if it wasn't for him being with me all week long. well i'm going to drive out to our garden to see how thing's are going, it's been pretty dry so might need to turn on the tripod sprinkler's for a bit. ok if there's anyone near me in virginia or anyhwere please drop me a line if you get a chance. would like to meet some people with r.s.d. or without it & talk to when the pain is high ect. ok take care hug's :hug's jay.

Default Welcome Jay

you are at the right place for support and to vent whever you want, What are you growing in your garden? I live in SC and I know the heat and lack of rain here has done major damage to a lot of the gardens. Having a grandson to help always lighten the load , plus 4 year olds are just delightful!! Well, most of them anyway. I had RSD for three years due to an automobile accident, it has tken away a lot from me-my restaurant, sleep, peace and my Pollyanna personality and left lots of pain . This said I am on a quest to see if a better person is under all the layers of STUFF that RSD dumped on me. Once again WELCOME Carose

Jay
welcome to the group. I am in Fredericksburg, and have had rsd for over 3 years, but just started treatment 3 months ago. Mine is in my left foot, and I think it is moving to the right side. I also can drive my tractor. Luckly, it is an automatic. It has been dry here also. Luckly, already got the hay for next year in. have 3 horses, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and misc wild life. Also have a grandson who is 8, but he lives way up north. don't get to see him as often as I would like, but talk to him all the time.

Jay,
Welcome to the group. Grandchildren are the best. They don't judge us like other family members do. They are the reason I keep going.
